BOXING DAY

December 26th, the day after Christmas is a holiday known as Boxing Day which has its origins in Great Britain in the early 19th century. Today it is officially celebrated in the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. One of the earliest literary references to Boxing Day was written by Charles Dickens around 1837.
